I use it for beadspriting instead of realistic pictures. One problem I find is that sometimes a small difference in what seems like an area of one color on the sprite can cause it to give you weird colors. But overall this is a handy app to have. I wish it had an option to use all 3 bead types at once instead of just perler+hama, perler, hama, or nabbi. Why not all 3 for a bigger color palette? And it would be cool if you could tap on an individual bead and be told exactly what color it is, since some colors have such subtle differences.

My iPad is a generation one or two running version 5.1.1 of iOS. Every time I launch the app it crashes.

Every time I try to go into the app it crashes! Please fix it!

iPad generation 2, 5.1

I have an original iPad with iOS ver 5.1.1 and I have not even been able to open the app. It crashes right after the title screen. I will update the rating when you fix the problem.

I really like this app. It helped me to learn how to do them on my own better too!! There are only a couple of things that would improve it. 1) give the option to create on different pegboards, like heart, star, circle and hexagon. 2) give the option to keep to x # pegboards....for example I want to make an ornament sized item and keep it to one pegboard, could there be an option for that?

I have no idea why the app is crashing when it opens for no more then 2 sec. But they need to fix this issue.

This app was the soul reason I even got an iPad back in 2010. This got me into one of my new favorite hobbies and now I cant use it anymore because it is a gen 1. This issue needs to be fix real soon

WOW. This was working just fine for me, until... UNTIL I got to actually trying to Bead It!! The colors were way off putting all kinds of pink,blue, yellow,gray etc. I was just trying to perler bead a Mario Kart Yoshi. I tried all the settings for this, Original, Perler, Perler+Hama, Hama. I even adjusted the size of it multiple times. It still wouldnt work. I got this as a 13th Birthday present, and am highly disappointed. Everything else worked just fine, but the MOST IMPORTANT PART... the colors. If I had the option of buying this knowing this would happen, I would have just waited for an update to fix it. Please someone tell me there is going to be an update to patch this up. If anyone had this problem and fixed it theirself, please let me know. I really wanted this to work and am really annoyed that its going crazy with the colors like this. Thank You.

This app is perfect for anyone who loves making Perler bead designs!!! It was totally worth the Money!!!!

I absolutely love this app and will happily recommend it to the many other perler artists I know. My one complaint is that you can only do like 5x4 pegboards I would love if you would make the area larger so that I could make patterns for even bigger more detailed projects. I would even be willing to pay a little more for this if you made it an add on or something! I really hope you read this and consider it! I would really appreciate it.

Great app everything I was looking for and more!! Only complaint is I wish they could allow bigger more massive designs for more detail so I wont have to crop too much to get that effect. So with that said designers please allow for us to at least scroll over on the screen so I can get the whole pic with same quality without having to crop anything out. Be aware that the quality of the pics you use and lighting can effect the over all look and you can also edit photos to black and white if the color seems off! Still love the app and very useful.

While it does a fine job of turning an image into a perler design I am very disappointed that the perler design can then not be edited further. If I could get my money back I would.

Its a $3 app, but you cant use the original scaling of the image? Free programs exist that are better than this. Download BeadSurge, take notes, and improve this app. Otherwise, I just wasted $3.

There is zero ability to edit or create anything new in this app. You simply import a photo and get what you get. The end product looks a bit like a bad Photoshop filter, and the colors dont match up to the photo OR to real bead colors. I dont recommend this to anyone looking for a way to design perler art. I wish I could get a refund.

I was really excited to get this app thinking it would have all these designs in it. To find that I have to crop it my self and import this myself... Can I have my money back. I feel totally fooled

All I wanted with its app is to be able to design large Perler bead creations. I read the description and it says you can convert pictures into designs. I assumed that you would at least be able to edit the photo, but no, you cant. I would not recommend this app to anyone. If you are looking to be able to design large perler creations, do not bu this app!

This app is very straightforward and does what its supposed to, which is convert images into bead designs. I will agree with some other reviews and suggest that the templates accommodate larger, more complex projects. Also, its hard at times to match the generated design with the proper bead color. It would be nice to have the actual color number codes right on the generated design. Especially when there are colors that are very similar.

I should have read the reviews first. Theres absolutely no ability to edit.
